Just another Edublogs.org weblog
Write some fun similes or metaphors below. If you are good, add a personification.
Personication- Uses human qualities and apply them to nature. Example, The flowers dancing in the wind.
Simile- Uses like or as to compare two totally different objects. For an example, The boy is as strong as an ox pulling a plow.
Metaphors- Compare two objects by saying what the other is.
Alliterations- When 4 words or more begin with the same letter.
Oxymorans- When words are grouped together with opposite meanings
Reverse Simile- Uses three items instead of two. Ex: Alabama Adventure makes Disney world look like a carnival.
Apostrophe- Addresses nonliving things to have a conversation. Ex: “O”, Christmas tree, how beautiful you are to me.
Symbolism- Connects two things using relationships that are symbolic of human relationships.
Can you put all words that you want us to have on here.

Stephanie, you did a good job with your figurative expressions. I certainly hope you have a good weekend and holiday.
Molly, thank you for your kind words. But, I really think you are a better student than I am a teacher.
