Everyone has a favorite candy. Some people eat that candy only on special occasions. Write an essay describing your favorite candy.
You were walking to the car and found a bag full of cash. You opened it and read a letter that said: If you are reading this note, I have moved to a new continent. I could take all of my American money with me. Write a story about that bag.
Are there things that Mr. Finkley need to work on. State your opinion and back it up with good reasons.

Talk to Mr. Finkley about things that are important to you in language. You choose your question and your the topic.
Explain why you like Alabama or Auburn in a detailed paragraph by creating a main idea. Make sure you use your rings to help navigate your way through the paragraph.
Write some fun similes or metaphors below. If you are good, add a personification.
Personication- Uses human qualities and apply them to nature. Example, The flowers dancing in the wind.
Simile- Uses like or as to compare two totally different objects. For an example, The boy is as strong as an ox pulling a plow.
Metaphors- Compare two objects by saying what the other is.
Alliterations- When 4 words or more begin with the same letter.
Oxymorans- When words are grouped together with opposite meanings
Reverse Simile- Uses three items instead of two. Ex: Alabama Adventure makes Disney world look like a carnival.
Apostrophe- Addresses nonliving things to have a conversation. Ex: “O”, Christmas tree, how beautiful you are to me.
Symbolism- Connects two things using relationships that are symbolic of human relationships.
Explain why you would like to see a new movie. Convince others why it is a good or bad movie in a detailed paragraph.
Use your five senses to describe your bedroom.
